Usage Note 12361: Production version of the enhanced XML Engine is available for SAS 8.2
via hotfix
The production Version of the enhanced XML engine is now available for
SAS 8.2 via a hotfix.
The enhanced XML engine allows you to take advantage of the XML Map
technology which allows the engine to read non-rectangular XML files.
The experimental version of this engine has been located on the BASE
Research and Development Web Page for download and has been supported by
development.
If you have the experimental version of the enhanced XML engine
installed, you will want to remove the location of the experimental
engine from the -PATH option in your SAS 8.2 configuration file before
applying the hotfix.
The production version of the XML engine is supported by Technical
Support.
A Technical Support hot fix for Release 8.2 (TS2M0) for this
