Usage Note 1010: Failure to allocate the DB2 library produces error messages
You will get one the following errors if you try to access DB2 and the
DB2 load library has not been allocated to your SAS session:
ERROR: Unable to load the DB2 call attach facility.
ERROR: A connection to the DB2 DBMS is not currently supported
or is not installed at your site.
or
ERROR: Unable to load appendage
Follow the instructions in the Appendix on Implementing the SAS/Access
Interface to DB2 located in the Installation Instructions and System
Manager's Guide of the SAS System under OS/390. The section on
Customizing the SAS CLIST and CATALOGED Procedures discusses the
steps to take to include the DB2 load library allocation to your SAS
session.
