Problem Note 414: PROC PRINT prints fewer observations per page if UNIFORM and PAGEBY used
When using both the UNIFORM option and the PAGEBY statement in PROC PRINT, the procedure will print one less observation on the first page of a BY group than the pagesize allows. On subsequent pages within a BY group, the number of observations printed is the same, however, a CONTINUED message is placed in the title area. Therefore, there is no space wasted on these subsequent pages.
See V6-PRINT-9500 for another problem regarding inappropriate pagination when using PAGEBY and UNIFORM.
