MQSeries Functional Interface

SAS Integration Technologies allows application developers to combine the power of both SAS information delivery and IBM message queuing capabilities by providing a SAS interface to the IBM MQSeries product. With this interface, SAS programs can create new MQSeries message queues or take advantage of existing ones that are available throughout the enterprise. This section explains how to implement this interface using the SAS Data Step and SAS Macro Language.

The SAS interface to MQSeries V5.1 is supported on the following platforms:

AIX (32 bit)
Compaq Tru64
HP 10.20 and HP11 (32 bit)
Solaris (32 bit)
Windows NT/2000

The SAS interface is also supported on the following platforms:

Alpha VMS (MQSeries Version 2.2.1)
MVS (MQSeries Version 1.2)
Linux (MQSeries Version 5.2 beta)
