Usage Note 9845: HCM logs out user while they are actively using the product
In Human Capital Management 3.1 (HCM, HRV, HR Vision), you may be
automatically logged out of the system while you are actively using it.
A parameter can be added to the HRVision.cfg file, PAGELOGOUTTIME, to
reduce the chance of this happening. In all cases, the LIFESPAN
setting determines the amount of inactive time that can occur before the
user is logged off. Being logged out in this fashion does not change
the display in the browser. PAGELOGOUTTIME setting is used to restrict
the length of time that a single page can be viewed. Being logged out
by PAGELOGOUTTIME forwards the browser to the exit page. If
PAGELOGOUTTIME is not defined within the HRVision.cfg file, the value
for LIFESPAN continues to be used.
