Problem Note 8910: "WARNING: Units were not specified on the XXMARGIN option. Inches will
be used." error message appears in the Log window when changing margin
setting in Page Setup dialog box
In SAS System 9.0, the following messages appear in the Log window when
you change the value of any margin setting in the Page Setup dialog box:
WARNING: UNITS WERE NOT SPECIFIED ON THE LEFTMARGIN OPTION.
INCHES WILL BE USED.
WARNING: UNITS WERE NOT SPECIFIED ON THE TOPMARGIN OPTION.
INCHES WILL BE USED.
WARNING: UNITS WERE NOT SPECIFIED ON THE RIGHTMARGIN OPTION.
INCHES WILL BE USED.
WARNING: UNITS WERE NOT SPECIFIED ON THE BOTTOMMARGIN OPTION.
INCHES WILL BE USED.
The messages appear in the Log window every time that you open SAS.
Although the warnings indicate otherwise, no problem exists with the
margin settings. You can continue to print successfully from SAS
by using the specified margins.
