Usage Note 8682: New option, DTRESET, prints current date and time in the output window
in place of date and time of SAS invocation
In SAS 9, a new option, DTRESET, prints the current date and
time in in the output window, listing files, and log files rather than
the date and time of SAS invocation.
To print the current date and time, issue the following statement in
your SAS program:
options dtreset;
This option only needs to be submitted once during the SAS session.
It can also be set on SAS invocation, either in the sasv9.cfg file or in
an autoexec.sas file. Each time output is produced, the current date
and time are captured and printed in the output window.
To cancel this option submit the following statement:
options nodtreset;
The last date and time printed will be the date and time on any
additional output produced.
