Problem Note 71013: Excess white space might occur within the Related Objects control in SASĀ® Visual Investigator
Excess white space might occur within the Related Objects control in SAS Visual Investigator if the following setup was implemented in Manage Investigate and Search:
- Two entities were created with page associations for each.
- Many relationships were created between the entities.
- Traversal to one of the entities was created.
- The Related Objects control was added on one of the entities associated page.
- The summary elements from the Related Objects control was removed and the sizing was set to Resize to fit content.
When you log on to SAS Visual Investigator, create instances of the entities, relate them to each other to populate the grid, and select a row in the grid, you would expect the following results:
- The grid displays the correct data.
- The summary elements (below the grid) are not present.
- The control retracts to the size of the grid.
Although the results for the first two points are expected, for point three, the control includes white space where the summary elements would be if they had been included.
