Problem Note 70978: Pervasive Encryption fails with an error similar to "ERROR 22-7: Invalid option name..."
Pervasive Encryption does not work as documented. Instead, it fails with an error similar to the following:
ERROR 22-7: Invalid option name...
The issue is caused by how SAS handles the DSKEYLBL. The SAS libname tokenizer/parser incorrectly detects an ICSF key label name when the label name contains a value similar to CCCCCCCC.NNNNNN, where CCCCCC is a character name and NNNNNN is a number.
Here is an example:
If you run DSKEYLBL=SAMPNAME.12345, then the following error is returned:
ERROR 22-7: Invalid option name 12345.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
Pervasive Encryption does not work due to time stamp and release being added to the key label and how SAS handles DSKEYLBL.
