Installation Note 70655: SAS® PC Files Server might not appear as a service when the regional format of Microsoft Windows is not English (United States)

When you perform an installation of SAS PC Files Server on Windows operating systems where the regional format of Windows is set to any format other than English (United States), the SAS PC Files Server service might not appear in Services.
Note: SAS® Deployment Wizard might indicate that SAS PC Files Server installed successfully.
If SAS PC Files Server appears to have installed successfully, but the service is missing from Windows Services, download and install the hot fix from the Hot Fix tab. Then, follow the post-install instructions in the instructions document to manually install the service.
