You can control a user's ability to export grid data to Microsoft Excel by providing or removing the Export from tables and grids capability. Providing or removing the Export from tables and grids capability works as designed for controlling the toolbar item associated with that capability.. However, some grids have export as a choice on the column selection menu. As a result, a user can export from some grids even though they do not have the assigned capability.
