DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you create a data set that is named with double-byte character set (DBCS) characters and you attempt to open the table from the Output Data tab in SAS Studio 5.2 (Enterprise), dialog boxes with the following errors are displayed:

Unable to retrieve columns for table "<libref>.<hex string here>". The table may have been deleted or modified.

Unable to retrieve columns for table "<libref>.<hex string here>". The table may have been deleted or modified.

In addition, clicking Close in this dialog box generates the following message:

Unable to open table "<libref>.<hex string here>". The table could not be opened or may have been deleted.

Unable to open table "<libref>.<hex string here>". The table could not be opened or may have been deleted.

As a result, the data is not displayed.

A workaround for this issue is to open the data set from the Libraries pane.
