When running pipelines in Model Studio, there is a significant pause after one node runs and before the next node begins running. You might experience this issue in all products that use Model Studio, such as SAS^® Visual Forecasting, SAS^® Visual Text Analytics, and SAS^® Visual Data Mining Machine Learning.

If you watch the pipeline run, you can either see a pause in the data node starting, a pause between the nodes that are running, or both.

If you open SAS^® Environment Manager and look at the Jobs view, you can see that there is almost a two-minute delay at times between the components running.
