Problem Note 70496: The SAS® Environment Manager Service Architecture enablement might fail on getDBMirror if FIPS is enabled
If FIPS mode is on, the step to enable the SAS Environment Manager Service Architecture might fail with the following error:
Linux: ./emi_init.sh --enable [ACM, APM, ALL] or Windows: emi_init.bat --enable [ACM, APM, ALL]
"ERROR: OpenSSL error 755388524 (0x2d06506c) occurred in EVP_PKEY_keygen at line 1494, the error message is "error:2D06506C:FIPS routines:func(101):reason(108)"."
The workaround is to set the ENCRYPTFIPS option in the <SASHome>/SASFoundation/9.4/sasv9_local.cfg file. For instructions, see SAS Help Center: ENCRYPTFIPS System Option.
