Problem Note 70424: A performance lag occurs when you run the CARDINALITY procedure with user-defined formats

When running PROC CARDINALITY with variables that are associated with user-defined formats, a performance slow down might occur. The procedure might take an extended amount of time to finish. Conversely, when you remove the formats, the procedure's execution speed shows a significant improvement.
