Problem Note 70363: SORT, SORTC, and SORTN CALL routines can produce an "Invalid Argument" message in SAS® 9.4M6 and later
The SORT, SORTC, and SORTN CALL routines can produce an Invalid Argument message similar to the following in SAS 9.4M6 (TS1M6) and later releases:
NOTE: Argument n to function SORTC(...) at line nnn and column nnn is invalid.
This behavior did not occur in SAS® 9.4M5 (TS1M5) and earlier releases.
