Problem Note 70337: The KSUBSTRN function might remove trailing blanks after you upgrade to SAS® 9.4M7 (TS1M7) or later

After you upgrade to SAS 9.4M7 or later, the KSUBSTRN function might start to behave differently. In this scenario, leading or trailing blanks might be removed, which is a change in behavior from earlier releases.
