Trying to access a Vertica table might result in an exception or an error when the following is true:
- You are running 32-bit SAS®.
- You are running with UTF-8 encoding.
- You are running on a 64-bit Windows operating system.
Here are some of the errors that have occurred as a result of this issue:
ERROR: The Java child process terminated unexpectedly: status -1073741819.
ERROR: The Java extension cannot send a JVM request.
ERROR: The Java extension cannot send a JVM request.
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.
