Problem Note 70090: A "Parse Failure..." message occurs in the SAS® log when running SPD Server PROC SQL with hex literals

The following message might occur in the SAS log when you run SPD Server PROC SQL with hex literals:
SPDS_NOTE: Parse Failure: ....
SPDS_NOTE: SQL passthru expression contained errors.
ERROR: SPDS Sql passthru Note.
WARNING: This SQL statement is not allowed to be passed directly to the DBMS for processing because the DBIDIRECTEXEC system option is not turned on by the user or is temporarily turned off by the Proc SQL.
