After applying Update 7 for SAS^® Add-in for Microsoft Office, the following message might occur when you close Microsoft Excel:

This message can occur if you applied Update 7 to SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office 8.3 and if your SAS Add-in configuration file contains the following line:

You can locate the SAS.OfficeAddin.dll.config configuration file in the SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office installation folder. By default, the location of the configuration file is in C:\Program Files\SASHome\SASAddinforMicrosoftOffice\8 (64 bit) or C:\Program Files (x86)\SASHome\x86\SASAddinforMicrosoftOffice\8 (32 bit).

To circumvent this issue, remove the <add key="DisconnectWorkspacePriorToCleanup" value="true"/> key in the configuration file or set the value for the key to false.
