Problem Note 7904: Error when installing SAS/IntrNet CGI Tools on a PC running Intel IA-64
processor
When installing the SAS/IntrNet CGI Tools on a Personal Computer that is
running Intel's IA-64 processor, the following error message may be
displayed after selecting the "Finish" button.
An installation support file could not be removed
The remote procedure call failed.
IKernel.exe - Application Error
The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000005) occurred in the
application at location 0x7da21bb3.
Click on Ok to terminate the program
The error indicates that a cleanup problem occurred after the
installation was completed. This error does not affect the installed
product.
Intel's IA-64 processor is also called the Itanium Processor Family
(IPF).
