Problem Note 69996: Live ETL fails with a "java.lang.NullPointerException" error

Running the Live ETL process in SAS® Infrastructure for Risk Management fails with an error similar to the following:
IRM [Thread-152] 28Nov22 10:55:51,757 ERROR com.sas.solutions.risk.irm.server.liveetl.LiveEtlService - LiveETL failed for Input Area /opt/sas/config/Lev1/AppData/SASIRM/<Federated Area>/input_area with the following exception:
java.lang.NullPointerException
