The SAS Security Update for SAS 9.4M7 fails to be applied to clients that install using Standalone Installers. The following clients are impacted:

• SAS^® Enterprise Miner™ client 15.2
• SAS^® Forecast Studio client 15.2
• SAS^® Time Series Studio client 15.2

To successfully apply the current SAS Security Update, complete these steps:

1. Apply the hot fix from the Hot Fix tab.
2. Download the current SAS 9.4 M7 Security Update (for example, sas-security-update-2023-03-M7.zip) from the SAS Security Updates and Hot Fixes page.
3. Apply the update by following the Applying SAS Security Updates and Hot Fixes instructions on that page.

After you apply this hot fix, any future SAS Security Updates will be applied successfully; you do not need to reapply the hot fix.
