Problem Note 69941: The MIXED procedure contains a stack-corruption vulnerability for certain models when the dependent variable is specified in the CLASS statement

Description: If the dependent variable has missing values and is included in the CLASS statement, and you specify a REPEATED statement with a continuous subject effect, the following error might occur:
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.

Segmentation Violation
If you do not get this error message, and the program runs, the results might not be valid.
To circumvent the problem, remove the dependent variable from the CLASS statement.
Potential Impact: The resulting segmentation violation introduces a potential security risk.
