Problem Note 69760: SAS® Studio 5.2 (Basic) displays an incorrect user name and the log window is unresponsive when you submit code

If you set the ENCODING system option to EUC-KR, SAS Studio 5.2 (Basic) might show the following two problems for user IDs that have certain Korean characters in the user name:
- An incorrect user name is displayed in the top right of the SAS Studio window.
- When you submit code, the code is not displayed in the log window. That is, the session is unresponsive from the Code Editor window.
The workaround is to modify the information for these users in LDAP to use English characters instead of Korean characters.
