Problem Note 69726: SAS® Visual Analytics Viewer does not correctly filter lines in a custom bar-line chart with a group role

SAS Visual Analytics Viewer might not correctly filter the lines in a custom bar-line chart even though the lines are correctly filtered in SAS® Visual Analytics Designer. Specifically, this problem in the viewer can occur when the graph has a group role and an aggregated measure is used in the Line Chart Response role.
Workarounds
To circumvent this issue, you can modify the report to use a standard measure in the Line Chart Response role. You also can filter the graph by a parameter value passed from the control. To do that, add the parameter to the Parameter role of the control, and then create an advanced filter on the graph that uses that parameter. For example, suppose the data item DriveTrain is assigned to a list control that is filtering your graph. To ensure that the lines in the graph are correctly filtered by DriveTrain, you add a multi-value parameter named DriveTrain Parameter to the Parameter role of the list control. Then, you create a filter for the graph like DriveTrain In DriveTrain Parameter.
