If comments are included when you create a new document in SAS Visual Investigator, the comments are not processed in the correct order. In addition, the create dates and last updated dates do not match. 

In this scenario, you might also encounter the following symptoms:

• Comment IDs are not in order, and there are large gaps between number values. The IDs should be system-generated.
• There should be a validation error if the ID field is supplied for newly created comments.
• You are unable to edit existing comments.
• The original order of the comments should be preserved.
• If you insert batches of comments, duplicate createDate values should not be allowed.
• When comments are fetched, they are returned and sorted by createDate.
• There is a 90-minute discrepancy between the createDate and lastUpdatedAt values: 2022-08-12T13:12:26.614Z versus 2022-08-12T14:56:20.285Z. 

There is no workaround for this issue.
