Problem Note 69515: The SAS® Viya® Backup Service, sas-viya-deploymentBackup-default, version 2.26.0 fails to start and returns "ERROR: schema 'backup' does not exist"

If your SAS Viya 3.5 deployment on Linux received the sas-deploymentBackup package version 2.26.0, then the sas-viya-deploymentBackup-default service fails to start. When this issue happens and you check the log named /opt/sas/viya/config/var/log/deploymentBackup/default/sas-deploymentBackup-_yyyy-mm-dd_hh-mm-ss.log, you see the following error:
Position: 14 [Failed SQL: (0) CREATE TABLE backup.databasechangeloglock (ID INTEGER NOT NULL, LOCKED BOOLEAN NOT NULL, LOCKGRANTED TIMESTAMP WITHOUT TIME ZONE, LOCKEDBY VARCHAR(255), CONSTRAINT DATABASECHANGELOGLOCK_PKEY PRIMARY KEY (ID))]
Because the sas-viya-deploymentBackup-default service does not start, the ability to perform a backup or restore from a backup using SAS Viya Backup and Restore functionality fails. The issue occurs when you receive sas-deploymentBackup package version 2.26.0 (sas-deploymentBackup-2.26.0-20220727.1658921637142.x86_64) and perform any one of the following tasks:
- Restart the sas-viya-deploymentBackup-default service.
- Perform a new SAS Viya 3.5 deployment.
- Update (install hot fixes) for your existing SAS Viya 3.5 deployment.
- Add SAS Viya software to a SAS Viya 3.5 deployment.
- Upgrade products in a SAS Viya 3.5 deployment.
- Upgrade to SAS Viya 3.5 from an earlier version of SAS Viya.
