When you use the SAS Visual Investigator web application, you might be able to edit the drop-down list with the Child-Object Viewer after you cancel the edit.

The problem occurs when you use the Child-Object Viewer with a reference data drop-down list. When you open the page in Edit mode and click the Edit button on the grid, a form appears in a pop-up message. If you click the Cancel button in the pop-up message, the message disappears but the drop-down becomes editable in the form.

Currently, there is no workaround for this issue.
