Problem Note 69295: You are unable to correct inconsistent information in the SARX report after applying the SAS® Anti-Money Laundering Hot Fix A5T016
Changes in the user interface behavior were made in the Step 3 Subject Information section of the Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) in SAS Anti-Money Laundering starting with Hot Fix 12 (A5T016).
If you have existing SARX reports that were created before you applied Hot Fix 12 or later, the following behavior might occur:
- Issue 1. You are unable to clear the Check if all critical* subject information is unavailable (Does not include Subject Relationships) check box when subject information fields (such as address, SSN, date of birth, and other subject information) are populated. Thus, you are unable to correct inconsistent information in the SARX report.
- Issue 2. You receive a warning and e-file rejection from FinCEN when the 3 Check if subject is an entity check box is selected and the fields First Name, Gender or Date of Birth are set to unknown.
The workaround is as follows:
- Issue 1: Delete this subject information from SARX and create a new subject with similar information.
- Issue 2: Clear the 3 Check if subject is an entity check box, and then save the changes. This action re-initializes the fields to blank.
