When you edit an entity with a large number of linked items, you might encounter slow performance. The root cause of this issue is the caching implementation.  

This issue was reported regarding an investigation entity in SAS^® Intelligence and Investigation Management. However, this issue applies to opening any entity in SAS^® Visual Investigator that has a large number of linked items.
