Problem Note 69150: Updating the connection profile configuration in SAS® Enterprise Guide® 8.3 might cause "Cannot show the connections" error

When you use the Check for updates now button to check for connection profile configuration updates, the following error might immediately appear in the SAS Enterprise Guide 8.3 notification bar:
Cannot show the connections
To re-establish a metadata connection and clear the error message, close and restart SAS Enterprise Guide.
