SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning pipelines within SAS Model Studio 8.5 might run indefinitely.
One possible cause for this type of behavior is that node status events can arrive out of sequence. For example, if a COMPLETED event arrives followed by a RUNNING event, then the pipeline appears to run indefinitely.
