Problem Note 69127: Log4SAS ERROR messages might appear in the logs when you use Kerberos authentication

When using Kerberos authentication, you might see these error messages in your system logs or logs for services involved in Kerberos authentication:
Log4SASFilterDecide() tkzRender() failed
Log4SASLayoutFormat() tkzRender() failed
Log4SASLayoutFormat() tkzRender() failed
These messages might appear in system logs, logs for application servers such as the SAS® Workspace Server, or in the logs for services that perform Kerberos authentication or delegation, such as the following:
- SAS® Metadata Server
- SAS® Object Spawner
- SAS® Workload Orchestrator
These errors are related to writing log messages rather than to functionality. So the messages can be safely ignored. To prevent the messages from occurring, install the hot fix.
