You are unable to add a space as a value in the SAS^® Marketing Automation Select node. When you enter a space in the Value field and press Update, an error message similar to the following occurs:

It is possible to work around the issue by setting the following properties for the data item in SAS^® Information Map Studio: AllowBlankValue=TRUE and set MetadataValue=Values. This workaround generates metadata for the value.
