Problem Note 69950: SAS® Versioned JAR Repository (VJR) pruning is disabled at SAS® 9.4M8 after the 2023 Q1 security update (G9J008) is applied
When you execute an Update-in-Place (UIP) from SAS® 9.4M7 (TS1M7) to SAS 9.4M8 (TS1M8), the data file that drives the VJR pruning process is not updated as required. So the pruning process is not executed.
This problem occurs only when upgrading to SAS 9.4M8 from a SAS 9.4M7 deployment that has had the SAS 9.4M7 2023 Q1 security update (G9J008) applied.
