Problem Note 69442: The SSLCLIENTAUTH option does not enable Transport Layer Security (TLS) client authentication
The SAS/CONNECT spawner parameter and SLCLIENTAUTH SAS option do not implement TLS Client authentication as intended.
Workaround
Complete these steps to work around the issue:
- Remove the SAS/CONNECT spawner parameter or the SSLCLIENTAUTH option.
- Set the SSLCLIENTAUTH=SSLCLIENTAUTH1 SAS environment variable.
Here is an example using the SET SAS option:
set SSLCLIENTAUTH=SSLCLIENTAUTH1
