Problem Note 69260: The Submission Status window in SAS® Studio might not be correctly updated

You might encounter an issue in which the Submission Status window is not correctly updated. For example, you might encounter this issue if you execute a job in Background Submit in SAS Studio. The status of the executed job is displayed in the Submission Status window. In some circumstances, the Submission Status window might not be correctly updated, and your executed job might display a status “Running” as shown below even if the job already failed.
This issue might occur if the executed job has been deleted from SAS Environment Manager ► Jobs and Flows ► Monitoring tab.
