Problem Note 69117: A "Credentials Required" pop-up might appear in Microsoft Excel with SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office installed when selecting values in a Pivot Table
When you double-click values in a pivot table in Microsoft Excel with SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office installed, a Credentials Required pop-up message might appear.
This problem occurs only when you have not selected the Save login in profile option in your SAS®9 Metadata Profile, as shown below:
- Microsoft Excel ► SAS ► Tools ► Connections ► Edit your profile and clear the Save login in Profile check box.
- Create a pivot table and double-click any value.
Note: The Credentials Required pop-up message appears even if you did not perform any actions related to any SAS components.
