A hot fix provides a new configuration property, sas.studio.abandonedSessionTimeout.
When a SAS Studio session is inactive, or abandoned, in the user interface, the SAS Studio session and related compute sessions time out and are then cleaned up based on the value that you set for the sas.studio.abandonedSessionTimeout property. The default value is 5 minutes. So, if the UI is inactive for 5 minutes, the session is then timed out. However, the server.servlet.session.timeout value is observed instead when the server.servlet.session.timeout value is set for a time period that is less than 5 minutes.
For the Basic edition, the sas.studio.abandonedSessionTimeout property is set in the config.properties file. For the Enterprise edition, the sas.studio.abandonedSessionTimeout property is set in SAS® Environment Manager.
