Problem Note 68964: You see "Unable to initialize Git repository…" after you select "Git initialize" for a folder

When you right-click an empty folder and select Git initialize to initialize a local repository, but without associating an existing remote repository, a pop-up message that is similar to the following is displayed:
Unable to initialize Git repository for path "path-information"
If you click the Show details link in that window, the following message is also displayed:
ERROR 71-185: The GIT_INIT_REPO function call does not have enough arguments
