Problem Note 68931: You might receive an error when importing an updated version of a rule in SASĀ® Intelligent Decisioning
In SAS Intelligent Decisioning 5.5, you might encounter the following error when trying to import an updated version of a rule or a decision:
2022-02-11 15:15:44.273 ERROR 93265 --- [0-auto-2-exec-7:businessRules] c.s.c.r.e.CompleteExceptionHandler : sasboot(24e5b5cc) [ffe8e98dc562bab4] [INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR] Internal server error. Request: uri=/businessRules/ruleSets/547fa56f-8f29-43e7-b790-640c0db3279b;client=10.101.10.165;user=sasboot. Error details: com.sas.brm.data.service.SASDecisionDataServiceException - 'The new rule order that you specified is invalid. Please correct the order and try again.'
2022-02-11 15:15:44.274 ERROR 93265 --- [0-auto-2-exec-7:businessRules] com.sas.commons.rest.ExceptionLog : sasboot(24e5b5cc) [ffe8e98dc562bab4] com.sas.brm.data.service.SASDecisionDataServiceException: The new rule order that you specified is invalid. Please correct the order and try again
For example, you encounter this issue if you complete steps similar to the following:
- Modify a rule on a development system (V2).
- Export that rule using the command line interface.
- Import the rule into a production system that has the original version (V1). The import fails with the above error.
The workaround for this issue is to delete the object on the system in which you plan to import the new version.
