Problem Note 68809: The Windows File Explorer Preview pane causes an exception to occur in SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

Viewing Microsoft Office files using the Preview pane in Windows File Explorer launches a background instance of the Office application that is associated with the file. When SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office is enabled, the Office application instance that is launched in the background attempts to load SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office. This causes a SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office exception error.

SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office has encountered a problem pop-up message
