The occurrence is decreased by one when you make changes to the scheduler in SAS Marketing Automation. This happens in the two cases described below.

One Scheduled Communication

You encounter this issue when you perform steps similar to the following:

1. Set a schedule and set the end date to produce occurrences. 
2. Edit the schedule again.
3. Click one day back, then back to the date on which it was previously set to, and then click OK. The number of occurrences decreases by one.

Two Scheduled Communications

You encounter this issue when you perform steps similar to the following:

1. Have a scheduled communication.
2. Create a new communication and add a schedule to that communication. This action decreases the number of occurrences of the first/old communication.

Note: This issue happens only when you click Edit schedule directly after navigating to the Schedule page.
