Problem Note 68777: Switching the Business Context in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio might publish to the wrong Common Data Model tables

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, switching to a different Business Context might publish to the wrong Common Data Model tables.

This problem happens when you perform steps similar to the following:

  1. Open SAS Customer Intelligence Studio in the Microsoft Edge browser.
  2. Log on and open an existing campaign that belongs to Business Context A.
  3. Open another SAS Customer Intelligence Studio session in a new Microsoft Edge browser tab. Notice that you are not being asked to log on.
  4. In the second session, switch to Business Context B.
  5. Go back to the first session where you are logged in to Business Context A and publish the campaign manually. It publishes the campaign to the Common Data Model tables that belong to Business Context B.

As a workaround, use a different browser for the second session, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
