Description: SAS Viya 3.4 and SAS Viya 3.5 products contain an Apache Log4J version 2 component that is affected by the following known vulnerabilities:

• CVE-2021-44228
• CVE-2021-45046
• CVE-2021-45105
• CVE-2021-44832

Potential Impact: Refer to the CVE records listed in the previous section for details. Impacts vary and include the potential for remote code execution by an attacker.

• Unless otherwise noted below, the hot fixes supplied here upgrade the affected libraries to Log4J version 2.17.1.
