When you use the Amazon branded Simba JDBC driver with SAS/ACCESS Interface to Hadoop, messages from Hive might be truncated or missing. For example, you might see the following message in SAS:
ERROR: Execute error:
The Hive log might contain additional messages that are not returned to SAS.
