Problem Note 68567: The "Duplicate" lookup table functionality does not save an updated description in SAS® Intelligent Decisioning
In SAS® Intelligent Decisioning 5.5, updated descriptions for lookup tables might not be saved. For example, you encounter this issue if you complete steps similar to the following:
- Use the Duplicate option to copy a lookup table.
- Add a new description or update the existing description.
- Click Duplicate.
- Open the new lookup table and view the Properties tab. The old description from the original lookup table is still present.
The workaround is to edit the description in the copied lookup table after it has been created.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note for a link to instructions about accessing and applying the software update.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
If you use the "Duplicate" option to copy a lookup table and you add a new description or update the existing description, the new lookup table that is created does not save the updated description. Instead, it contains the description from the original lookup table.
