SAS^® Visual Investigator supports many database providers when incrementally indexing external data. However, if your database is Microsoft SQL Server, incremental indexing might fail with the following error, noted in the svi-indexer log:

The full error message that occurs for this problem is "Could not execute compiled query: [SAS][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]The incoming request has too many parameters. The server supports a maximum of 2100 parameters. Reduce the number of parameters and resend the request., Error code=8003."
