If you are browsing SAS Visual Analytics reports in SAS^® Drive with the thumbnail mode enabled, thumbnail images for each report are rendered. Each image corresponds to a job that is executed by the Report Image service.

If too many of these jobs are running simultaneously, it can negatively affect both the loading time for thumbnail images and also the experience of other users who are viewing SAS Visual Analytics reports.

The hot fix enables a configuration property, perUserJobLimit, that limits the number of simultaneous Report Image jobs per user.

After the hot fix is installed, administrators can set the property following these steps:

1. Log in to SAS^® Environment Manager as an administrator.
2. Navigate to the Configuration page.
3. In the drop-down menu, select All services.
4. Search for or navigate to the Report Image service.
5. Search for or navigate to the sas.reportimages section, and click the Edit icon.
6. Click Add property and add the following property:
   
      Name: perUserJobLimit
      Value: 20
   
   Note: The default value is -1, which means the property is not enabled. The value 20 is a recommendation, but that might need to be modified further, depending on your environment and number of users.
    
7. Click Save to save the value.

The property takes effect after 30 to 60 seconds.
